Day 1 and 2

Still fresh, but very tired after getting up at 3 am and taking the first plane to Frankfurt. There we are taking the last bus ("Letzter Bus") to Seattle.

Boarding the cute little plane for Vancouver.

Arrival in Vancouver, a huge and almost empty airport. Canadians left for the long weekend.
On the ferry to Vancouver Island.
Finally arrived in Nanaimo - after a 30 hour journey, the host families welcomed a tired but happy group.


The wonderful port of Nanaimo - the largest Marina on Vancouver Island.
