Day 12 - Triangle Island lighthouse, whale watching and presentations.

We had a presentation in Sooke at noon, with a wonderful audience who liked our drawings on the board as a substitute for the power point presentation. After a presentation we were taken to the Triangle Island lighthouse which is at a museum at the corner of Sooke Road and Philips Road. Elida Peers, who had parents from Norway, presented the story of the lighthouse and let us go inside it for a look.

In the afternoon we went for whale watching again :) This time in the seas near Victoria. The sea was quite rouge, but we were lucky to sit inside this time. And we got to se many killer whales close to our boat!!

Soaked in seawater and excited about the boat trip, we were served wonderful salmon dishes and home-made bread in a beautiful home by the sea. Perfect recharging of batteries before our last presentation that day to the Sidney club.
